About 4 months ago, i told myself i wasn’t gonna use tumblr…. Ever
Well, that all changed last night. My mom decided to be even more awesome than normal and she went out of her way and surprised me with a New Camera.
Anyway, long story short, this is now gonna become like every other tumblr on the web: obsessed with meme’s and a 365 photoblog. There’s nothing interesting around my house so the first post is gonna be kinda weak

Beneath the planet of the Apes
The movie, Beneath the Planet of the Apes, Sequel to Planet of the Apes, depicts not only a species of highly intelligent, militaristic apes and the remnants of the human civilization, which will never come to be a reality. The movie picks up right after the events of the last. Astronaut Brent is sent to rescue his comrade, Taylor, but crash lands on the Planet of the Apes. Taylor has disappeared into the Forbidden Zone, so Brent enlists the help of Nova, other human, in an effort to try and follow in his footsteps. Once in the forbidden zone, Brent and Taylor discover a cult of mutant humans, remnants of the previous human civilization, ravaged by the aftereffects of radioactive fallout. The mutants fear the Apes’ latest military movements, and Brent finds himself in the middle. Tension mounts to a climactic battle between ape and man deep in the bowels of the planet.
The movie is completely fictitious, calling into question everything modern science has taught us. The movie depicts a radioactive blast and the preceding radioactive fallout as survivable and life-altering. In reality, the radioactive blast and fallout are not life altering and do not give you mutant powers. As a matter of fact, radioactivity is linked to sever deformation, birth defects, sterilization, third to fourth degree burns, and death. Also in the 2000 years from the time of departure to the time of arrival on the Planet of the Apes, if apes had evolved to an intellect that rivals a human’s, then, similarly, humans would have evolved yet again. Countless fallacies could be pointed out in this movie, but for the sake of keeping its entertainment value intact, I will not discuss these.
As a science student, analyzing this movie is a completely preposterous assignment, an insult to the field of study in which you teach. This assignment not only calls for a modicum of my intelligence, but also wastes time that can be used on the following of serious scientific pursuits. However interesting you believe this assignment may be, it inexplicably brings into question the credibility and legitimacy of this assignment, which, in turn, reflects that of your teaching.
